I’m Susan Kennedy and I’m trying to find out what in the world is going on with my body.

I’m a married, almost 40 year old who has had 2 children living. I made a promise to myself to be in the best shape of my life by the time I turn 40. And right now, I’m pretty far from it.

If you saw me on the street, you would think I look like a healthy woman and I pretty much am on paper. But, I don’t feel healthy. In fact, I feel pretty awful and I don’t know why. Maybe it’s been all the stress and chaos of the last year or so but mentally, physically …  I’m struggling. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been, I’m always tired, my brain fog is out of control. I can’t concentrate, sleep isn’t going that great and my motivation is pretty much non existent.

Maybe it’s my age. After all, when we start approaching 40; things start changing and shifting (if you know what I mean).

I’m here to get to the bottom of it. Things need to change. I want to feel better and look better and most importantly hit my goal of being the healthiest I’ve ever been by the time I hit 40. I don’t have much time left.

I don’t know about you, but I’m done playing the google guessing game. Am I aging or am I having issues with my hormones or thyroid? I’m ready for some answers and I’m documenting the whole thing right here on this simple, little blog.

So, if you stick around,  I guarantee you’ll learn something new. I’m also guessing you’ll get inspired to change some things in your life as well. After all, it’s true what they say …. we only get one life, might as well make it the best it can be!
