Start Here

Hey there!! Thanks for stopping by. I know blogs can get a little confusing sometimes especially after they get loaded with content. I’m trying my best to make this blog easy to navigate, so you can find the info you need.

Thinking about homeschooling or currently homeschooling? Yay! Being new to homeschooling myself I understand the mixed emotions that come with it. I’m not here to tell you how to run your homeschool, but I am here to support you. It’s a big freaking deal. It’s courageous to do something that isn’t the norm. (Although it’s growing more each day.) I’m simply here to share our journey; what works for us and what doesn’t. Your homeschool may look completely different than ours and that’s great! That’s the best part about homeschooling.

Here are a couple posts you might like to start with  … coming soon.

Booze Free

Here for the booze-free life? Are you thinking about ditching alcohol too?  I’m excited to share this journey with you. My sole purpose is to support this sober curious movement going on. No one bats an eye if you tell them you are a non smoker. Can’t drinking be the same?

I love my garden, but I am in no way shape or form a pro. In fact, I thought about leaving this out, but truth is I really love to garden and I’m learning new things everyday. Why not just share it? Plus, I can see how much I grow each year.  Maybe you can teach me a few things … like how to keep all the critters out?!

Homeschooling. Booze-Free. Gardening. If that doesn’t scream 40 years old. HA! I don’t know what does!

Health + Travel

These last two topics are pretty darn personal to me. My health. This has been a wild ride. For over a year now I’ve been trying to heal my gut and detox my body. This is one of the reasons I decided to ditch the booze. I’ve realized how important it is to really take care of yourself, especially with all the toxins we deal with on a daily basis. I’ve also gained weight this past year and well turning 40 doesn’t help, but I’m determined to look and feel better than I ever have before! I’m thinking this will keep me accountable.

One of my love languages is quality time. I love to spend time with my husband and kids and experience new places and things. If I’m going back to blogging you better believe I’m adding this in. It’s a great way to journal these memories, plus since we are homeschooling we plan to travel a lot more.
